● 164cc Light Bore piston set is made with molybdenum coating to be installed on the stock 125cc cylinder head and crankshaft.

The high grade Yuminashi piston rings that come with the set are developed and produced by very strict Japanese standards and all rings are treated with a hard chromium plating layer (Cr) as shown on this page. 

● The aluminium is AA-Grade so if you cut this aluminium it won't crumble while you are cutting like a cheap piston would do, but you will be able to make really nice spirals while you are cutting/machining the piston. 

The pistons are finished with a black molybdenum coating on the sides of the piston. 

※ Make sure your cylinder bore is 60.04mm! (acceptable tolerance is +0.01mm)...

※ Since the YUMINASHI 150cc, 160cc and 164cc kits have been made with slightly different cylinder heights we recommend to check, and to make sure that the deck clearance with the piston at Top Dead Center (TDC) is at least 0.3mm.

Please notice that you need to measure the deck clearance with the cylinder head nuts tightened to 24 N·m (2.4 kgf·m, 18 lbf·ft) torque to have the correct pressure on the cylinder. 

If the deck clearance is less then 0.3mm then a easy solution is to install an extra cylinder gasket under the cylinder.
