● GT GRAN TURISMO VARIATOR SET (SCOMADI TL125 / TT125i / ROYAL ALLOY GT125 / LJ1P52QMI ENGINE)


● The GT GRAN TURISMO VARIATOR Set has been developed by Yuminashi with Gran Turismo use in mind which is cruising at higher speeds for longer distances.

Typical for the Yuminashi GT Gran Turismo variators is that they have a larger diameter compared to stock, which is a perfect solution for the Scomadi 125cc, Royal Alloy Air-Cooled engines, Lambretta V125 & V200, and the Chinese LJ1P52QMI engine.

● The GT Gran Turismo Variator for the TL125, TT125i and GT125 is with Ø116.75mm only slightly larger compared to the stock Ø114.25mm, but this size difference is enough to lower the rpm's in combination with the special torque spring, and the larger then stock Ø20x15mm 9gr carbon HT Yuminashi roller weights (LINK), which are included in the set, and this to optimize the torque of the engine with as end result a higher top speed.

● The specific drive boss comes in a custom size with the set to work perfectly in combination with the larger roller weights and the optimized 6 variator slots.

● The drop in RPM's results in a improved fuel economy, which makes that this upgrade will pay itself back, and allows you to drive on long motorway stretches without the danger of engine damage, and the set is balanced in such a way that there won't be a loss in acceleration compared to stock.

● The higher the speed goes,the faster it starts to accelerate compared to stock. 
The video below illustrate perfectly what you can expect once the variator is installed. 

At the left hand side in the video you see the result with the stock Scomadi variator installed, at the right hand side the result with the Yuminashi variator installed.

To get a a realistic comparison of the performance with the GT Gran Turismo variator, a hilly stretch of road was selected where the first part is flat, then it goes uphill, with next a short flat stretch which turns in to a slightly downhill, and the test ends while driving again uphill...

● This GT Gran Turismo Variator was specifically developed by Yuminashi for the Scomadi TL125, TT125i & Royal Alloy GT125 with motorway use in mind.

※ The optimal roller weights can be adjusted for Scomadi, Lambretta and even Royal Alloy based on the the RPM's you are running at wide open throttle.
It's really important to know that you will get the most torque and power out of your engine around the 8,000RPM mark, and just slightly over.
If you open the throttle, and you see you are at 7,500RPM's then this means that you will need to install a lighter roller weight to come closer to the 8,000RPM mark where you will have optimal torque.

※ Recommend to install our variator with a 43T and 44T final gear sprocket. 

※ The Yuminashi GT Gran Turismo Variator for Scomadi is not using the stock Φ18mm roller weights, but the larger Φ20mm roller weights.

※ The rollers should be checked/changed every 1600km/1000 miles (per maintenance schedule) to keep your scooter running at peak performance. Over time, roller weights will develop flat spots which will impair the performance of your scooter.

One will have this sooner as others and this based on the performance of your engine and your personal drive style. 
If you spend a lot of time on top speed then this will demand a lot more from both, your roller weights and your V-Belt, so both will need to be replaced sooner in this case as if it would be the case for someone with a more moderate drive style.

A good indication that your rollers are worn is increasingly high revs for a given speed and/or decreased top speed.
Replacing worn rollers with this set will restore, and actually improve your low-end power and especially your top speed. Fuel efficiency will also improve dramatically!
