This PGM-FI controller is our 2.2 version PGM-FI controller, where the previous version was mentioned for a different fuel injection bike, and which we introduce to our assortment based on a quiet clear demand from the SH125i / SH150i and PCX150 owner to provide a fully adjustable fuel injection programmer, with if possible also the possibility to remove the stock Honda RPM limit so that you won't face the RPM limit anymore, and you can decide for yourself where you want to have the limit for your RPM range.

First of all we have to say that we totally understood the demand from the SH and PCX tuner to provide a system to change the stock ECU settings because certainly the first generation PCX150 (V1) isn't like the first generation PCX125 where you only install a higher flow rate injector and you're done.

If you install a 164cc big bore kit, like the 164cc light bore kit for PCX150 which Yuminashi have recently developed, then it's just impossible to get the air fuel ratio right in combination with the stock PCX150 V1 ECU because, with just a larger fuel injector you would be to rich at idle, way to rich at wide open throttle and seriously, even dangerously lean in the middle RPM area with the throttle opened below 50%, even if you would install a 10 holes fuel injector like the Yuminashi R&D did a test to see the results while developing the 164cc kit.

The PGM-FI controller has the possibility to make a selection between 2 maps.
Selecting between the 2 maps is really easy.
If you don't install the blue wired jumper, then you are selecting map 1.
If you do install the jumper, then you are selecting map 2.

Once the PGM-FI controller is installed and if you selected the first map on a stock PCX150, then you are using the stock ECU settings where you will have the RPM cut removed with the possibility to adjust with a simple small screw driver manually the ignition timing between minus 8% or plus 8%.

The stock PCX150 ECU has been programmed for fuel economy with an air fuel ratio at 14.7:1 and not for best performance which will be around 12.6 to 12.8:1 at wide open throttle.

Once the controller has been installed you will be able to change manually the fuel injection amount with -30% and +30% fuel based on 3 different RPM area's where you want to have more or less fuel where the first area is between 2000 and 5000RPM's, the second area is between 5000 and 8000RPM's and the third area is the +8000RPM range.

You can also change manually the injector acceleration with +30% and -30% because a smaller injector will need to push harder and need more time compared to a larger injector, so the timing for this is also adjustable.

If you have selected map 2, then you are using the installed base map for the PCX150 164cc kit with the 31mm throttle body in combination with the A-type 6-holes high performance fuel injector (this map has been made on the Dyno with the 2016 Torque Control Variator installed).

If you don't want to install the 31mm throttle body, then you can use the same map for your stock PCX150 throttle body, but you need to reduce manually the fuel amount then with -10 to -11% on the entire RPM range.

If you order also the optional USB PGMA-FI Programmer Cable which you can find over here, then you get with our PGM-FI controller in combination with the provided software really all the freedom you need to tune the ignition & injection amount based on the RPM range and throttle position from your first generation PCX150 or SH125/150i ABS!...

If you make manually corrections on the box with your screw driver, then you will be able to see in the program how much you corrected exactly, like you can see below in a correction made on the base map in map2 for a stock throttle body on a PCX150 with 164cc kit.

The PGM-FI controller comes together with a sub wire harness with all connectors to make the install plug and play on your stock first generation PCX150 wire harness. 


**A wideband O2 gauge and a RPM (tachometer) are necessary to get your tune right.

We recommend the Innovate MTX-L O2 gauge as you can see over here
