● The YUMINASHI V1. CBR250/300 engine swap mount kit is the first high grade 6061 billet aluminium alloy engine swap bracket set on the market produced for the MSX/GROM - Z125 MONKEY 100% by CNC machining, and comes complete with all nuts, bolts spacers and chain guide in the set.

● The nuts and bolts/studs to install the engine in the frame are REAL engine hanger mounting bolts/studs supplied to us by Honda, not from a local hardware store, which is unfortunately something we see basically in all these aftermarket engine swap bracket sets...

※ The Honda torque values for the engine hanger bolts/nuts in the kit are: 60 N-m (6.1 kgf-m, 44 lbt-ft).   

● The chain guide provided in the YUMINASHI set is a real chain guide/support covered with teflon, and not just a bearing (as we see again in all these aftermarket engine swap sets) with a direct bearing-to-chain contact, because this would produce a chain whirling noise as the chain rolls over the bearings, and this is something YUMINASHI wanted to avoid while developing this set. 

● This specific set allows you to install a Honda NC51 (300cc) or Honda MC41(250cc) engine onto a 2014-2020 Honda Grom and 2019-2021 Honda Monkey so you can enjoy the reliability of a water-cooled 250cc or 300cc Honda engine, with a 6 speed gearbox, and the biggest bang for your buck concerning creating power on your Honda MSX/Grom and Monkey Z125! 

● The stock 250 engine makes 20 kW/27 PS/27 hp (JIS net) @ 8500RPM, 23 Nm / 17 ft-lb torque at 7000RPM and the stock 300 engines makes  22.7 kW/30 hp/31 PS (net) with a torque of 27 Nm / 20 lb-ft
The performance of the stock 300 engine is 0- 60 mph 6.4 seconds, which is from 0- 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds with a 1/4 mile drag time (402 m) of 15.2 seconds.

● THIS CNC BILLET ALUMINIUM ALLOY ENGINE SWAP BRACKET SET IS THE CORRECT SET TO BE INSTALLED ON: 

● MSX/GROM125 - MSX/GROM125 SF (2014-2020):

● The engine mount kit includes everything needed to bolt-on a NC51 or MC41 engine onto a Grom chassis, and this kit does NOT require any welding or major modifications to the chassis. It’s reversible! If you ever decide to put the original 125cc engine back on, you’re able to unbolt everything CBR related and reverse it!


● MONKEY Z125 4-SPEED (2018-2021):

● Similar to the MSX/Grom, the engine mount kit includes everything you need to bolt-on an NC51 or MC41 engine onto a Monkey chassis.
This kit does NOT require any welding, but some modification is needed on the very bottom portion of the Monkey frame.
Slight cutting and grinding are required in order to clear the new engine.

● SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

-Honda MC41 engines are commonly found on CBR250, CRF250F/M, CMX250 Rebel and the NC51 engines on CBR300R, CB300L, CB300R, CRF300F/M and CMX300 Rebel.

● NOTE: We recommend the CB300F harness (LINK) because it requires the least amount of work to get it to function on the Grom chassis (due to the speedometer). Modification is required for the harness, so that it would cleaner and some wires will need to be extended/lengthen.

The CB300F harness allows you to reuse the original Grom speedometer OR a CB300F Speedometer. The CB300F speedometer is the same as the 1st/2nd gen. MSX/Grom unit, so it’s a direct-replacement, however it will display higher RPM reading (12k RPM) and it has a coolant temp light.
If you decide to keep the Grom Speedometer, max RPM reading is 10k RPM and it doesn't have a coolant temp. light.

If you have the CBR250/CBR300 harness, then you're require to run a CBR250 or CBR300 speedometer (requires custom mounting bracket) or a jumper harness to use the CB300F or Grom Speedometer. Typical harness modification is needed as well.
Regardless of what harness you use, it would require all the supporting relays, sensors, and modification to the harness.

※ WARNING: Due to the short standard wheelbase of the MSX/GROM, the new swap will have the tendency to wheelie during initial acceleration, rapid low speed accelerations, or while changing gears, therefor we recommend the install of our +2 inch braced swingarm for the MSX/GROM (LINK).

※ KEEP IN MIND: That this bracket need to be installed with a Chimera style special MSX/GROM engine swap elbow/manifold (which we don't supply). 
This manifold/elbow has a dent, because the engine block is too close to the frame, and that dent allows the manifold to be mounted under the frame (It's also possible to work with a silicone elbow)...
