● HISTORY:

● Sep 26, 2000 was an great day for Magneti Marelli, because they patented an improved version of their fuel injector (link), which opened the door for many manufacturers to change their bikes from carburetor to a 1 or even a 2 holes fuel injection system on motorcycles!...

● Italian companies love to use Italian technology and that's the reason why we can find the 2-holes injectors since the year 2000 on so many Italian bikes such as Vespa 946 / Vespa Primavera 150 / Vespa Sprint 150 / Piaggio FLY 150 3-Valve (2013 and newer) / Vespa LX / S / Primavera / Sprint 3V i.e. 125-150cc,

with even an amazing 3-holes injector on the PIAGGIO BEVERLY 250 / 300 and the APRILIA RS4 (2011-2017) / SCARABEO LIGHT 125/200 (’09-’12) / Aprilia Atlantic 250 300 (2010-2011) to name a few...

● Honda Japan understood that you can't get a perfect atomization, combustion and fuel economy with the use of a 2-holes injector in a 200cc engine, or with using a 3-holes injector in a 300cc engine.

● The finer the mist of gasoline, the better it can be mixed with the airflow, and the more power and fuel economy you can get, so that's the reason why Honda started to work with Keihin on the multi nozzle holes B-Type injector which was first released in 2011 on a 110cc Honda four-stroke engine with the 6-nozzle holes B-type injector installed.

● Honda is also using the B-type injector on the 300cc scooter engines, and they are using a 10-holes Keihin B-type injector instead of the Magneti Marelli 3-holes injector...


● TODAY:

● Today you see that since the stricter EURO-5 emission standards for motorcycles most companies such as Aprilia (SR-GT125 & 200), Vespa (Sprint / Primavera / Zip – iGet), KTM, Kawasaki, Husqvarna, Suzuki, Husaberg, etc... are changing from the Magneti Marelli fuel injectors to the Keihin B-type injectors, 

● Companies however such as Scomadi (TT125i, TT175i & TT200i), Italjet (Dragster 125 & Dragster 200), Royal Alloy (all engines), are still supplying the day of today scooters with these 2-holes Magneti Marelli injectors installed.

● YUMINASHI give you with this Magneti Marelli to Keihin B-Type injector wire loom the possibility to change this, and to connect the Keihin B-type injector to your stock wiring harness mentioned for a Magneti Marelli injector. 

● YUMINASHI opens the door to performance with this B-type injector wire loom, because if you convert to the B-type injector, then YUMINASHI has an entire assortment of different flow/minute B-type fuel injectors (LINK), which gives the engine tuner the possibility to drop in a larger fuel injector to make the bike running richer, and this without remapping/touching the ECU (also called ECM).

※ Keep in mind that the Keihin B-Type fuel injector is smaller in height, and also smaller in diameter compared to the old Magneti Marelli fuel injectors, so you need to install also another injector joint (injector holder) to connect the fuel hose.
